Dr. Tim A. Williams, B.S., D.V.M., was born and raised in the Greater Knoxville Area. He graduated Cum Laude from Lincoln Memorial University in 1988, followed by his doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After graduating with his doctoral degree, Dr. Williams followed his Tennessee spirit and volunteered to serve proudly with the United States Army Veterinary Corps. as an Officer with the rank of Captain for many years in multiple states and on the DMZ in Korea before founding 2 large pet hospitals in Middle Tennessee. After incredible success building his hospitals to the largest in the area, hosting 10 doctors and about 80 employees, he sold his main hospital to retire to his home in East Tennessee in 2008 and begin a family. In 2011, Dr. Williams was called to aid in the establishment of what would become the 30th Veterinary College in the U.S. at his alma mater in Harrogate, TN and served as the LMU Attending Veterinarian and Faculty member until 2015, when he resumed his passion of serving independently as a private practitioner in his beloved hometown. Today, he performs pet housecalls weekly and you can find him performing small animal surgery each and every Tuesday in Halls Crossroads across the highway from his alma mater, Halls High School. When not practicing medicine, Doc enjoys his life with his family, friends, and many pets on his little spot of heaven on Norris Lake, just North of Knoxville.
